Vital Basics

Vinyasa—the Sanskrit word meaning “to unite breath with movement” is the very heart of yoga. If you are beginning a yoga practice or want to experience yoga for the first time, Vital Basics, our Vinyasa fundamentals class, is the place to start. In a warm, supportive environment, you will learn the essential yoga postures, basic sequences (how the postures are strung together, and how to move from one pose into the next), proper alignment and pranayama (breathing techniques).
