As a personal trainer, John Sander was drawn to the practice of Yoga as a way to enhance his understanding of movement—and himself. After embarking upon a regular practice and experiencing profound transformation, he decided that he would love the opportunity to share those experiences with others. He received his training through Vital Yoga and has continued to expand his practice through immersive studies with Madhuri Martin, Micah Springer and through his interactions with students. John’s classes are filled with contemplative learning and softened with humor; he is dedicated to striking the ideal balance between encouraging self-challenge and improving one’s attention to personal limits.
