50 Hour Anusara Yoga Teacher Training

50 Hour Anusara Yoga Teacher Training

Each time Jai me Allison steps onto her mat; she brings with her the wisdom that Anusara Yoga offers. The Universal Principles of Anusara Yoga truly are a road map to the heart, a road map for skillful living, and a way to embrace and maximize one’s potential. When we make changes in the tangible outer form of the body we make huge shifts in the heart and mind as well.  Anusara Yoga is based in the science of biomechanics. There is an optimal way to place the bones of the body in relationship to each other. This optimal alignment goes beyond the body to affect all the subtle energies of the heart and mind. Does it take work, dedication and consistency? Yes. Is it worth it? More than you can imagine!

To Jai me there is no completion to the journey. She unfolds and reaches new levels of understanding, moment to moment. This practice is a tool for personal growth. It restores balance in mind, body and spirit. Her desire for her students is self-empowerment so they can practice safely and live deeply.  Having an understanding of the Anusara Yoga Universal Principles of Alignment allows students to take responsibility for their health and well being. As the physical body opens and heals, there is opening and healing on all levels. It is an on-going process of learning and opening, of seeing and owning the radiance within.  This path of yoga continues to unfold in all ways possible. Great souls met along the way guide, sustain and uplift. To be blessed with good company on this journey of life is something Jai me offers her deepest gratitude toward everyday.

Springboard for Transformation, An Anusara Workshop with Jai me Allison

Springboard for Transformation, An Anusara Workshop with Jai me Allison

Jai me Allison has been described as a woman who has, “little propensity for small talk and bullshit”.   Superficiality holds fleeting interest in a world filled with wonder hiding in plain sight. Life is a precious gift, a treasure waiting to unfold, a story longing to be told.

Jai me has studied with both John Friend and Dr. Douglas Brooks since 1994 and 1998 respectively. She received her certification in Anusara Yoga in 1999. Over the last 18 years Jai me has made the Universal Principles of Alignment her own. She has taken them to heart and offers them in a way designed to educate and empower her students. The two greatest gifts a teacher can offer students are a rekindled desire to learn and the tools for self-empowerment.

You won’t find her at the latest “circus tent” of yoga. She and her husband Justin reside on 10 acres in the Arkansas River Valley of Colorado at their retreat center, Ananda Tandava. While endeavoring to live with the land, grow food and pursue perma-culture and biodiversity, Jai me offers retreats and trainings that invite each student into the wonder of their life, the treasure of their existence and the telling of their story.

Kick-Asana

Kick-Asana

Party like a yogi with ‘Rock Star’ teachers, Shannon Paige Schneider, Tina Porter, Kenny Graham and Julieta Claire for an advanced yoga class. Their classes are sure to delight, challenge, entertain, and inspire your practice on and off the mat.

Living fully as an author, sacred activist, motivational speaker, dedicated teacher of Shiva Rea’s Prana Flow, and founder of Anjali Restorative Yoga and Bhava Vinyasa Yoga, Shannon is an expressive student of the symbolic nature of Tantra and mystic poetry. She interweaves her student’s unique purpose driven inspiration into the divine play of body and breath to unlock the secret wisdom held within the heart.  Her classes are dedicated to a sense of mystery and wonder within a vinyasa of self-honoring, self-cultivation, and radical self-participation.

Kenny Graham is a fully Certified Yoga teacher. Kenny teaches workshops, teacher training’s,immersions and retreats in the United States and around the world. His passion is to support others in finding more ease in their life and in discovering their own unlimited potential.

Tina coined her style of yoga with a foundation of Power Yoga that combines the flow of a Jivamukti class with the traditional alignment of Ashtanga, the spirituality of Kundalini all wrapped in the grace of Anusara. Her classes are a progressive sequence of flowing asana that build functional strength both physically & mentally with an emphasis on breath.  ”As we practice Yoga, we build a reservoir of equanimity (not only) to tap into during class, but to be able to access in our everyday lives. Yoga is challenging and through our practice we awaken in many ways. Everyone, all folks/all levels, are welcome in my classes because they’re designed to help cultivate a sense of awareness. I encourage my students to do what they’re physically able to do, but only if they’re able to remain calm which is represented by a free-flowing breath. If the breath isn’t there, give yourself permission to back off and take it easy. My class empowers you to purposefully train and use your body, mind and spirit with more acceptance, ease, flexibility and balance”.

Julieta is a Certified Anusara Yoga teacher in Denver, Colorado, and has been practicing and studying Anusara since 2000. Julieta teaches from her heart and leads playful and inspiring group classes and workshops around the country, that incorporate detailed alignment instructions into a fluid asana practice, balanced with meditation and relaxation.
